Dr. Janet Brown is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Liberty University. She is on the Board of Directors of the Safe Surfin’ Foundation, a national non-profit organization dedicated to teaching parents, grandparents, educators, and young people on the dangers of the cyber world. She and her husband travel throughout the country in their efforts to promote awareness of this issue. Her research interests include internet safety, bullying/cyberbullying, and social media behavior.  She has taught both residential and online courses and served as a Subject Matter Expert for Psychology of Childhood, and was recently selected as an Advisor to a national program administered by the National White Collar Crime Center and the Safe Surfin Foundation.
