Care for victims of human trafficking and exploitation requires a delicate and special skill set. In many instances, victims rely on shelters as the first place to rehabilitate, and feel safe and secure in the immediate aftermath of a human trafficking or exploitation situation. These shelters provide supportive environments to allow victims to cope with their trauma, but also assist victims with reintegrating back into society.

MOSFED offers support to shelters that have been identified as in need of support and are properly vetted by our founder and investigators. Our support is delivered in various forms, including the implementation of security measures and/or funding shelters that require desperate support.

Due to the rise in human trafficking in Mexico, MOSFED is currently focused on supporting “Camino a Casa”, a shelter based in Mexico City that supports the rehabilitation of human trafficking victims. Camino a Casa provides a high-security shelter for 17 young girls and teen victims of sex trafficking. In this shelter, victims receive comprehensive care, including food, water, clothing, counseling, medical services, education, and training to assist in rehabilitating and reintegrating victims into society.
